Substack

Regular visitors might have noticed that the site hasn’t been updated in a while. The reason for this is that going forward I have decided to concentrate on my Substack content, rather than continue to publish here.

There are two levels of subscription to the Substack newsletter (which will be delivered to your email inbox). The first is free, and will include occasional general newsletters on the history of Grand Seiko. The second is a paid-for subscription ($5 a month, or $50 a year), and has two primary benefits.

Firstly, paid subs will receive a weekly newsletter detailing auctions to look out for on Yahoo Japan. I highlight both auctions to be avoided, and also recommend listings that I believe warrant the attention of anyone looking to collect vintage Grand Seiko.

Secondly, paid subs will get a one week exclusive opportunity to purchasing any watches I offer for sale from my collection, and a 5% discount on the listed price. One week following publication of a newsletter offering watches for sale, it will be opened up to free subs as well.
